Old football jerseys will be sold during the Fall Parent Night on Tuesday October 17th from 4pm-7pm. Most of the Jerseys are from the years 2002-2012 and a few from the 90's. Each Jersey will be sold for $5 and all the money will go towards the athletic fund.

BSN has opened another St. John Woodchuck Team shop! This is a basketball team shop but it also has some none team specific gear.

The 5&6 BBB game vs Dunseith on Thursday Oct 12 has been CANCELLED. There will be no make up date. The 5&6 BBB will practice in the new gym this Tuesday and Thursday.
Volleyball in Rolla on Tuesday, October 10th. All Teams (A,B,C,8,7 ) play in the new gym in Rolla beginning at 3:30.

St. John JOM Committee 2023 Election Notice:
On Tuesday, October 17th from 4-7pm during the St. John Fall Parent Night the St. John JOM Committee election will be held. There are two seats up for re-election serving each a 3-year term.
Any Parent with a child that is a tribally enrolled member of any Federally Recognized Tribe and attends the St. John School may request to be placed on the ballot. The school must have a copy of the child's tribal enrollment on file as well.
Please contact Dr. Keith LaVallie by 3pm on October 16th at the St. John School if you would like to place your name on the ballot.
REMINDER: The St. John School DOES HAVE school on Monday, October 9th!

5th and 6th Grade Boys Basketball Practice has been moved to the old gym after school. They will be done between 5:00 and 5:15.

Our school is working with the American Institutes of Research (AIR) and the National Writing Project (NWP) to evaluate an instructional coaching program developed my NWP to improve the writing instruction of middle school English and Language Arts (ELA) teachers- the Coach. Teach. Write. (CTW) program. The CTW will take place between the fall of 2023 and the spring of 2025 with a sample of approximately 60 middle schools in total from multiple states. I would like to commend our St. John kitchen staff/department on their recent food inspection conducted by the North Dakota Health and Human Services. It was an impeccable review!! They had zero (0) risk factor violations and zero (0) repeat violations.
I would like to thank the kitchen staff for their attention to detail and their thoughtfulness when serving our students and staff nutritious and healthy meals- all while having smiles on their faces! We sincerely appreciate the love that is in every meal and interaction.
