Last week Mrs. Martin sent home summer reading challenge sheets to the students in grades K-4 who did not pick one up at the reading fair. If your child did not bring one home, please let Mrs. Martin know and she'll get one to your child. Use the magnet to stick them on the fridge so you know where they're at this summer. Turn them in at Back to School Night in August for a prize.

There are still 34 student books checked out. We started out last week with almost 600, so I think we're doing pretty good. Please take a look around home this weekend to see if you spot any. The kids with books out have seen Mrs. Martin every morning this week, so they should know if they have anything out.

Meet Emery! Emery is an energetic, playful boy who brings fun wherever he goes!

Emery’s favorite colors are blue and red, and his favorite food is ramen noodles. One of his favorite things to do is play Fortnite, and he loves listening to the song “6-7.” His favorite movie is Spider-Man.

When Emery is at home, he enjoys relaxing and playing games on his phone. When Emery isn’t gaming, you can probably find him outside having adventures. He loves going on four-wheeler rides and playing outside.

Emery has 3 big brothers and a twin sister, so life is always exciting around his house!

When Emery grows up, he wants to be tall!
