Rhylie and Piper popped in and got new books to continue working on their summer reading challenge. Piper has read enough that she earned a free ice cream cone from End of the Rainbow Coffee Shop! Keep an eye out for the next time Mrs. Martin will be in the library and keep reading!
Today's a great day to POP into the library to find a book to cozy up and read. Mrs. Martin will be there from 11:30AM-2:30PM. Bring in your summer reading challenge sheet to show your progress. And it's not too late to get a sheet and start! Students in any grade are welcome to participate.
Baseball Parents- if your player needs a ride to the baseball game on Monday to Dunseith please call the office so we can have idea on bussing options. The bus will leave the school at 4:15 and will be back around 7:30. You will need to pick up your child from the school once they return.
BASEBALL INFO! Baseball practice today is moved to the OLD GYM. The Belcourt game on June 25th has been moved to the 26th.

St. John School Emergency Tornado Shelter Notice
The St. John School will serve as an emergency tornado shelter for members of the St. John community when severe weather threatens our area.
In the event of a tornado threat, notifications regarding the opening of the shelter will be posted on the St. John School Woodchuck App and Facebook page.
The main gym will serve as the community holding area, and the locker rooms adjacent to the gym will serve as the designated tornado shelter area.
For the safety and comfort of all occupants:
No pets are allowed in the shelter.
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times.
We appreciate everyone's cooperation as we work together to provide a safe location during severe weather emergencies.

School Board Elections are today June 9th, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Tomorrow's (6/9) baseball game in St. John will start at 11:30, please have players to the field by 11:15.

This week some FFA members attended State Convention down on the NDSU Campus. Students competed in Small Animal Care (Miley LaFountain, Destiny Houle & Dahleigh Azure), Floriculture (Mikey LaFountain, Keily Charboneau & Brooklyn Arvidson) and Environmental & Natural Resources (Carver Belgarde). Brooklyn and Keily were also our Chapter Delegates. Destiny - Bronze, Brooklyn - Silver, Keily - Bronze & Carver - Bronze. Congratulations!!! Students also attended a college & career fair on campus. These 6 students were wonderful to have!
YEARBOOK! The school is offering an all grade level yearbook to pre-order. They are $35 each (check or exact cash to be dropped off at the front office) and will need to be paid before ordering. Once ordered they take roughly 20 business days to receive. You are responsible for picking them up from the school. There was a miscommunication with the senior banners and they were taken down early. Paige has them at the office, you may stop in and grab your banner from her any time Monday-Thursday between 9-2 or Friday from 8-12.
