Important Information from Mr. Frydenlund:
Every morning at 8:45 all doors to the school building will be locked except for the Main Office Entrance. Students that come in late are required to sign in at the Main Office before they will be let in class. Also, students leaving early for any reason will be required to sign out and exit through the Main Office.

For the first day of school we ask that you please have your child ready for the bus at 6:45am. After the first few days, the bus routes should be finalized and you will know the approximate time each day that your child will be picked up.
If you have changes from last year or questions regarding busing please contact the school.

The Woodchuck Football team will host North Star on Friday, August 19 at 7:00 pm. The Woodchuck Boosters will be selling concessions! The game will be streamed on the NFHS Network. Come out and enjoy a Friday night under the lights.
Pee Wee football gear will be handed out on Thursday, August 18 at 3:30 at the Old Gym. Practice will start on Monday, August 22. Elementary girls basketball will start practice on Thursday, August 18 at the Old Gym at 3:30. Physicals are not required for grades 5 & 6.
Change in volleyball practice time. August 16-practice will start at 10:30am and end at 12:30. Sorry for last minute change. We tried to find a time that would work for most.
St. John School August Menu
Tomorrow, August 15th is our Annual Open House. Stop anytime from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm and meet the teachers and check out the classrooms.. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be served. First day of school is Wednesday, August 17th, 2022!
If you made the list to get an iPad, it must be picked up and paid for by 2:00 today Friday, August 12th. No exceptions.
The St. John School has a limited number of iPads for sale. These iPads are 5 years old and have been phased out. The iPad will come with a case and charger. The cost is $50. They are only being offered for sale to families that have a student in the St. John School. Each family is limited to purchasing 1 iPad. There is no warranty with the iPad. They have all been erased and reset to the factory settings. If you are interested in purchasing one, please call 701-477-5651 or stop by the school.

Back to School Information:
Open House Monday, August 15th from 4-7pm. Come to the school and meet your teacher and have a burger or hotdog! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
JOM & the St. John School Board has purchased all School Supplies for all students. Your child will only need a backpack!
First Day of School is August 17th!

The track will be closed today starting at noon until further notice. Maintenance is being done on the track.
Mrs. Marty has submitted completed art projects from students in grades 4-7 and 10-12 at the ND State Fair. There are 146 of them. Their work is in the 4H hall toward the back. So if you are at the ND State Fair, stop in and take a look at all of their hard work. We are the ONLY school in Rolette County to participate in this opportunity. Thank you to Mrs. Marty for all your hard work as well.
Grades 7-12 will pick up football gear on August 1 at 5:00 pm at the Old Gym. Grades 9-12 will start practice on August 4 at 8:00 am. Junior High will start practice on August 8 at 8:00 am. Football for grades 5 and 6 will pick up gear on August 18 after school at the Old Gym. Practice will start on August 22. Remember to get your physicals!
The Old Gym will be closed until August 1st!
