The 5th and 6th grade students will be going to Bottineau tomorrow for the water festival. If your child does not ride the bus, they need to be at the school by 8:20.
I would like to send a message regarding "staff appreciation" and the recognition of our valued staff. During the week of May 6-10 (staff supper on May 11), we will honor all of our staff collectively. I realize that some recognition days have passed and it is not my intention to disregard anyone or any position here at our school. I sincerely value every one of you as a vital piece of our organization/community and as a person. I can't thank you all enough for your service and commitment to our students and school. Kindergarten is learning how to keep our Earth clean this week. Our word of the day was RECYCLE! They were given a newspaper, tape and scissors. They had to recycle the newspaper to make a dress for their partner.
The Varsity Track meet in Rugby scheduled for this Friday 4-26-24 was moved to this Thursday due to expected rain. Our Varsity Track team was already committed to a Track meet in Langdon on Thursday so we will attend that one still and not Rugby's.

The Northern Lights Softball game on Thursday 4-25-24 vs Pembina County North will now be played in Rolla. They were unable to find umpires to go to Cavalier. It will still be V/JV starting at 4pm.

The 8th grade students in Ms. Kom's class cleaned up garbage around the school for Earth Day.

The JH/JV Golf Meet in Bottineau for tomorrow 4-23-24 has been postponed to May 20th. The JH/JV Golf Team will still golf tomorrow 4-23-24, however, they will be at MAFB.
Just an FYI, we have been short custodial staff the past few days and there may be some classrooms that did not get fully cleaned. Please bear with us. Thanks
