
Mrs. Marty's 6th Grade Art Class worked on a daily drawing prompt to look for simple shapes to set up more successful drawings.


Attention St. John community: At our most recent basketball game, we noticed there is counterfeit currency being used. Our school officials will be more diligent in processing transactions. Logen Disrud delivered a Tie Blanket that was made by the Middle School Green House to Gene Allery. Gene is covered up all nice and cozy in his bed with the blanket.


The Middle School Blue House gave one of their Tie Blankets to our 1st Grade Teacher Mrs. Luna.

8th grade Students in Mrs. Gustafson's Reading Class worked hard on their Outsiders Characterization Posters.





Tomorrow, December 21st, PK -8th graders will be going to the movie in Rolla.
PK-5 students will see the movie "Trolls". These students MUST be here by 8:15. If you ride a bus, you will be here on time. They will have brunch when they return from the movie.
6th, 7th & 8th graders will see the movie "Grand Turismo". They will have brunch when they arrive at school and go to the movie at approximately 10:45.
School will be dismissed at 1:00, Happy Holidays! School resumes January 3, 2024.

The New Gym will be unavailable from Dec 26-28 while the floor is being refinished. If there are scheduled practices on those dates they will be held in the Old Gym.

Consent forms were sent home last week with students who are due for vaccines required for school. Please return the consent form to the office by tomorrow morning.

5th-8th Grade students in Mrs. Marty's Class have been working hard on different projects. 5th Grade has been doing color theory where they use/mix watercolors to demonstrate primary, secondary, and tertiary colors of the color wheel. 6th Grade has been doing mono printing with individual construction of ink transfer tool. 7th Grade has been doing abstract tile design using alcohol ink and fire. 8th grade has been doing wire and panty hose sculpture.





5th-8th Grade students are learning how to play the ukulele in Mrs. Belgarde's Music Class.
