5th & 6th Grade Girls Basketball practice will begin on Tuesday August 20th after school in the old gym. PeeWee Football will pick up gear after school on Monday, August 19th in the old gym and start practicing Tuesday August 20th after school.
More information about Elementary Cross Country will be announced ASAP.
Sports physicals are required for all participating students.
JH football Aug 12 - Aug 14 practices will start at 4 pm at the old gym.
Attention Parents/Guardians:
If there are any changes to your child's bus pick-up or drop-off location from last school year, please contact the office. Also, there will be a limit of TWO pick-up & drop-off locations for students this school year. This will assist in keeping the routes as consistent as possible for all riders. Thank you.
For any students 7-12 joining cross country please reach out to Nancy Brien at 701-278-1319 about more information regarding practices. Practice will start Monday Aug 12 and students will need to get rides to St. John/Rolla/Anishinaabe for practice, when school starts Aug 15 they will be provided transportation.
The St. John School Old Gym will be closed today, August 6th and tomorrow August 7th.

Updates regarding 7-12 Football:
Football equipment will be handed out on Tuesday, July 30th starting at 5pm with Seniors and going down to 7th graders.
9-12 practice will begin August 8th
7-8 practice will begin August 12th
Practice time will START at 8:00am, so be there early to be ready to go by that time.
DON'T FORGET TO GET YOUR PHYSICALS BEFORE THE FIRST PRACTICE!
Attention Girls in Grades 7-12:
There will be a Pre-Season Girls’ Golf Meeting on July 29th at 11 AM at the Rolla Country Club. If you’re interested in joining the golf team for the upcoming school year, please attend.
The first practice will be on August 5th at 10 AM at the Rolla Country Club.
If you cannot attend the meeting but are still interested in joining, please contact Coach Verlin Allery at 701-550-1161 for more information.

Congratulations to Parker Bryant for being the first Woodchuck to complete our summer reading challenge! Parker has read over 720 minutes, completed her summer reading journal, and the activity sheets for each book in her summer pack. She is entered to win one of the grand prizes and has taken all of these prizes home already.
Keep reading Woodchucks! You can turn journals and activity pages in any time the library is open, back to school night, or the first week of school.
