JH Boys BB Practice will be held today at 3:30 in the old gym.
Staff: If you have any custodial issues (e.g., classrooms not being cleaned, bathroom concerns, etc.), please put in a work ticket so we can address those concerns immediately. Ross and I both feel this is the best means to address these issues readily.
TO PROCESS A WORK TICKET- Go to our St. John Website, click on "Important Links," click on "Ticketing System," and click on "Submit Ticket."

The health and wellness program is on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 AM for staff. If you are interested please contact Eli Luna. If we do not have more than 5 staff members join by February 1, we will discontinue the program
Another cute idea we did in kindergarten! Polaroids, a couple of them had no idea how they worked.

More of 6th Grade at Metigoshe

Yesterday the 6th grade went to Metigoshe. They learned how to snow ski, snowshoe, and kick sled. They also learned how to do winter counts as well.

The Woodchucks have been busy reading, which is fantastic! However, we have 187 overdue books out there. Please take some time this evening to help your Woodchuck (no matter their age) look for their library books. Then ask them about the book and if they enjoyed it. Students frequently get reminder sheets of what they have missing. Attached is an example of what those look like. Happy reading!

Tomorrow is the 100th Day of School!

I would like to acknowledge Ross Sivertson, Randy Zupan, and Leo Cross for going above and beyond addressing the heating/boiler issue the other night. These gentlemen basically hand-fed the boiler [coal]overnight in an attempt to keep our school as warm as they possibly could. Sometimes these acts go unnoticed and we need to acknowledge them! Thanks again, guys! We sincerely appreciate it! If I forgot anyone regarding this issue, let me know and I can acknowledge them too.
Lady Titans host the St. John Woodchucks tonight in Edinburg! Come out to watch, or catch it live on https://www.youtube.com/@VETitanTube
Just a reminder TOMORROW the 5th Grade will be going on a field trip to Metigoshe. The students will be spending sometime outside so please make sure they have winter gear. Thanks!!!
Staff: I wanted to inform you we are dealing with a boiler issue. We are working on a fix for the problem. There might be a slight temperature decrease. Let us know if your area is cold; hopefully, we can make adjustments. Also, we have to tend to the boiler manually, which will involve custodial and kitchen staff periodically, so please bear with us. Thank you
