The St. John Elementary (Kindergarten through 4th) will be going to the Bottineau Winter Park this Thursday, January 26th. Please send your child to school with their winter gear. Students will eat breakfast as soon as they arrive. Buses will load at 8:30 am and will leave the winter park at 1:00 to return back to the school.
Today the JH girls will be playing Belcourt at 4:30. We will be playing 1 game plus 2 quarters. Belcourt does not have enough girls to play to full games.

Devils Lake B Day Schedule
If you plan to attend the boys basketball game in Rolla on Thursday, January 12, you must use door 1, 3 or 4 to enter the school. All other doors will be locked.
Menu Change:
January 10th Lunch will be: Chicken drummies, mashed potatoes, gravy & corn.
January 12th Lunch will be: Beef stroganoff, carrots & garlic toast
RCPH will be at the school offering fluoride varnish to students Thursday, 1/12. Consent forms will be sent home Monday, 1/9 with students. Please return form if you would like your child to receive this. They will not be given to students without a completed consent form returned!

If you want to order state wrestling tickets, you must have your money turned into Randy Loing by noon on January 6. This is a strict deadline. No exceptions.
Important Attendance Information from Mr. Frydenlund:
Attendance issues are becoming a concern again for our school. Please make every effort to get your child here each day and on time. Students who arrive late for class disrupt the teacher and all other students in that class. School starts at 8:25am for PreK-8th grade and at 8:35am for 9-12th grade. Those that come after this MUST sign in at the office before they will be permitted into class.
Please refrain from checking your child out early unless it is an emergency or a prior arrangement. Our school day ends at 3:10pm. The end of day instruction time is very important and causes disruptions to the class when the office has to call for a student early.
If your child will be absent or late, please call the office by 8:30am. Students with a history of attendance issues will be required to have a medical excuse slip in order to excuse absences from school.
Extra-Curricular Student Attendance:
Students in extra-curricular activities are required to be in school the full day or a medical excuse slip is required for that day in order to attend practices and/or games.
Day after game rule: Students are to be in school the full day after a game or athletic event they participated in or if absent a medical excuse slip is require to excuse that absence.
