St. John Marksmanship Club Trap Team Members attended the State Championship Match on Saturday June 18th. The 1A conference matches (team with less than 25 members) where held at The Shooting Park in Horace, ND on a hot and very windy day with 350 high school athletes representing 36 highs schools competed for the state trapshooting titles in varsity, junior varsity, and novice classes. Keaton LaFromboise finished the day winning the silver medal in men’s Novice class, with Brenden Arvidson right behind him in 5th place. Liliauna Schroeder placed 10th in the women’s Novice class, while Peyton Hendrickson moved up a class to Junior varsity placing 38th.

More Team Building from middle school
Middle School Summer School Students tested out their bridges they made in Mr. Pedersen's class to see how much weight they could hold. The winning bridge could hold over 85 pounds. They also did some team building activities.
High School Trap League State Championship
The St John High School Trap Team will depart at 1:00 pm on Friday, June 17th from the School parking lot. The State Championship match will start at 8:00am on Saturday at the Shooting Park in Horace, ND. You can follow the scores using the Clay Target Leaderboard app. Trapshooting Team members attending the State Championship please check the Marksmanship Club Trap “Teams” post for more information.

Kids Baking School Program - 4th grade
Elementary Volleyball Camp starts today from 3:30-5:00pm in the New Gym and will go through Thursday! If you didn't sign up, just show up!

Mrs. Pedersen’s kindergarten summer school had a busy week! We built tents out of a piece of paper and three sticks, yesterday we built boats out of tin foil to catch our food, and today we made s’mores over our “fake(microwave)” fire.

Middle School Students had a great time during summer school trying to build the highest tower out of spaghetti.
