Tomorrow, April 8th we will begin state assessment testing with the 5th grade and group A of the sophomores. This group will also be tested on April 9th and 10th. It is important to get a good night’s rest and eat breakfast in the morning. The sophomores should report to school with their computer fully charged for testing. Headphones or earbuds are also required, and they may use their own if they wish.

Mrs Pedersen's kindergarten has been researching animals. They were each given an animal to research using PebbleGo, they wrote and illustrated a page for our book. As we're waiting to come back from the publishers in the next few weeks, they made dioramas to go with their animals. We can't wait to see our published book when it comes in.

Students in grades 6-8 in Ms. Kom's Writing Class held a March Madness Debate. For this project, students were assigned a college team and placed in a bracket where they debated against a peer by writing an argumentative response with a clear claim, evidence, and reasoning. It was a fun and competitive way to practice argumentative skills. Each student that made it to the Final Four received extra credit towards their overall grade. There was a champion for each class: 6A Ari Brunelle, 6B Ashtyn Crissler, 7A Cam Auth, 7B Addison Kom, 8A Addison Edgerly, and 8B Ariana Gourneau. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
