Senior Spotlight-Ally McCloud

Pre-K Student Spotlight: Meet Duke G.! Duke is a funny, friendly, and energetic boy who brings lots of excitement to our class. His favorite color is blue, and he loves playing Ninja Turtles—so it’s no surprise his favorite food is pizza! His favorite song is “Miles on It,” and he enjoys watching SpongeBob. Duke favorite hobby is spending time outside, especially playing with his brothers. A fun fact about him is that he’s a wrestler! When Duke grows up, he hopes to become a cop. We're so happy to have Duke in our class!

We would like to remind you that students are not permitted to stay after school is dismissed unless they are participating in supervised after school activities. Students participating in “woodchuck workouts” are not to stay after school.

Also, please ensure that your child is picked up promptly at the end of the school day.

Reminder- Pre-K & Kindergarten Applications are due May 1st.

Woodchuck Workout Info- Today from 1PM-3PM for both boys AND girls. Tomorrow will be at regular times and then off until Monday the 13th.

The freshman and sophomores will start state assessment testing on Tuesday, April 7. They need to have their computer fully charged. They may also bring their own earbuds to use for testing. Testing will start at 8:35. Be rested and ready to go!

Pre-K Basket Hunt

Pre-K went on a hunt for their bunny baskets today!! Everyone was successful!

It was a colorful day in Pre-K as we decorated eggs in various ways! It was so much fun! Thanks to Mrs. Cahill's mom (Jackie) for helping!!

Senior Spotlight-Miley Lafountain

St. John Public School would like to extend our sincere thanks to all of the agencies and staff who participated in our recent active threat emergency drill. Your time, professionalism, and commitment to preparedness made this a valuable and meaningful experience for everyone involved.

This work goes beyond a single training. Each agency’s dedication to strengthening its own response capacity plays a critical role in ensuring safety during times of crisis. Even more importantly, the collaboration demonstrated during this drill reflects a shared commitment to protecting and supporting our entire community.

By working together, practicing together, and learning together, a stronger, more coordinated response system is being built; one that prioritizes the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and families.

We are grateful for your partnership and continued efforts to keep our community safe!

Today we are celebrating our paraprofessionals right in between National Paraprofessional Day (April 1st) and Paraprofessional Day (April 3rd). Thanks for all you do!

7-12 Baseball & Softball players please be at the old gym at 3:00 to be picked up for practice in Rolla today, April 1.
