Fall is in the air! On Friday, we picked leaves for our hedgehog art!
A JH Volleyball game has been added to the schedule. 7th & 8th grades will play in Dunseith on Monday Oct 6 starting at 4:30.
School Picture day is Tuesday, October 7th. Forms will be handed out today.

Today is National Johnny Appleseed Day! 🍎🍏
Ms. Chase's first grade learned the history of Johnny Appleseed and had some fun with their apple investigations. They cut (with kid friendly knives), inspected, did different science experiments and taste tested with both store bought and fresh picked apples!
Woodchuck Varsity Volleyball team travels to Devils Lake for a tournament on Saturday!

FYI: The elementary cross country event tomorrow Sept 26 is only for the students who have been participating in CC practices for St. John and Rolla schools.
No independent runners will be allowed to run.
It's our first CC event we've hosted so we're not trying to make it any bigger than it needs to be. We're excited to give our students an opportunity to compete with our neighboring school and their future Northern Lights teammates
Thank you to the Turtle Mountain Tribal Council for their generous donation! The seniors took the new Woodchuck Charter Bus to Hostfest today!

The Cross Country Meet that we are hosting is Friday Sept 26, running starts at 11:00.
This is an event just for St. John and Rolla students that are involved with Elementary Cross Country.
Parents, family, and community members are welcome to watch, we ask that they sit in the Grandstands at the football field and they will be able to see more than half the race from there. You could also watch from the starting line north of the parking lot and east of the high school addition and then walk to the grand stands to see the finish.
