Next week February 10 -14 is National FCCLA week. The members want to do some fun dress up days. the theme this year is Dare to Dream!

Mr. Frydenlund was able to watch some of our alumni who play for United Tribes. United Tribes beat Bismarck State. Great win!

There is an early dismissal at 1:00pm tomorrow, Feb. 5th, due to Staff Professional Development.

The St. John School District #3 cannot thank you enough for your endless generosity and commitment to our students in ensuring they have the best educational experience possible. Chairman Jamie Azure, Councilman Craig Lunday, Councilman, Kenny Malaterre, Councilman Jon Jon Keplin, Councilman Ron Trottier, Councilman Elmer Davis Jr., Councilman Lynn Gourneau, Councilman Chad Counts, and Councilman Blaine Davis, your support and generosity do not go unnoticed or without appreciation. The recent purchase of a new 2024 minibus is an invaluable addition to our fleet. From everyone here in St. John, we say thank you! Go Woodchucks!

GBB team travels to Harvey tonight to take on the Hornets! HWC uses HUDL for live streaming. 

All students wear your favorite Woodchuck gear tomorrow, Feb. 3rd in honor of Woodchuck Day! Grades 7-12 will have games in the gym starting at 1pm for our annual celebration. 

This Week's Events!

FCCLA has decided to sell on Monday, February 3rd for all those that forgot.  We would also like to thank those that have purchased so far.  
Rolette Co. Public Health will be coming to the school to do Fluoride varnish for teeth on Tuesday, February 4th.  All students pre-k through 12th grade were given a consent form to bring home. Please fill out and return to the school or scan QR code on form to sign your child up.
BBB team hosts #8 Midway-Minto in a District 3 matchup in St. John today, Jan 31!

GBB team travels to Cavalier for a varsity only contest in Cavalier! 
The 7th & 8th grade GBB players will have 6 quarters at Turtle Mountain today as well starting at 4:00. 

Friendly reminder:  FCCLA have been preparing for the annual cookie sales.  The members have been selling this week.  Please make purchases by Friday, so we can plan accordingly for the baking of the cookies.  They will be handed out the week of Valentines Day.  They are still $1.  Thank you in advance!
Next Friday February 7th, students in grades 5-8 will be going tubing at the Bottineau Winter Park.  It is very important that they are dressed warm.  This means that they will need a warm jacket, snowpants, boots, hat, and gloves.   The bus for students in grades 5 and 6 will be leaving at 8:20 so it is important for students who don't ride the regular bus to be here by 8:15.  
Reminder: All sophomores and juniors need to be at the school by 8:00 tomorrow morning to load the bus to Rugby.DO NOT be late! If you want breakfast, come before 8:00 to eat!
Update:  Bus 5 is back on the road and students will be dropped of according the scheduled order.  Thank you to the Rolette County Blade for the assistance!
Bus 5 is stuck in a residental yard right now.  All students and driver are safe and sound.  Rolette County will be there shortly to assist.   Please contact the school if you have any questions.
