Nice job to all Northern Lights Track athletes!! Was a season plagued with lots of rain, even today at Regionals with a rain delay. Congratulations, Jenna Rosinski and Justin Hudson, for qualifying to State!

Students interested in volunteering to help clean at the Rolette County Historical Center in St John can show up at 10 am on Wednesday, May 22nd. St. John Students: this can be counted as community service hours through Mrs. Moberg.

The Northern Lights Softball team didn’t get the win today, however it sure was fun seeing them improve throughout the season. Looking forward to next season already!

Woodchucks Summer Reading Challenge:
In order to keep our Woodchucks’ brains active this summer, we are hosting a summer reading challenge. Students in PreK-4th grade received bright green bags filled with books today. They can use these books or any others they want to read to participate in a challenge on Beanstack, a free app. Information on the app/website is in the backpacks, including their login information. Students in grades 5th-8th were given their information on Monday. High School students are also welcome to participate and can get their information from Mrs. Martin. Students are challenged to read 720 minutes over the course of summer (this averages to only about 9 minutes/day!) and complete some simple activities. Mrs. Martin will have the library open six days this summer, please watch this page for any schedule changes. As students earn their badges in Beanstack, they’ll also earn rewards in the library. Students who cannot visit the library throughout the summer can bring their completed activities back at the start of the school year to receive their prizes. Challenge will open on Monday, May 20th and end on August 9th. Please contact Mrs. Martin with any questions!
