Any 8th- 12th grade students interested in participating in the St John Marksmanship Club 2022-23 Winter Air Rifle and Air Pistol Team should sign-up on the sheet posted outside the High School FACS room. There will be an informational meeting on Oct. 27th after school at 3:10 in the FACS room to discuss the upcoming season. If you have any questions about the Team, contact Coach - William Langer - on “Teams.”

The playoff football game on Saturday, October 22 is a NDHSAA event. Ticket prices are Adult $10 and Student $5. The student Woodchuck passes are not accepted for this event. The game will be streamed on the NFHS Network.

The start time for the elementary boys basketball game tomorrow in Dunseith has been changed to 4:30.

On Saturday, Oct. 22 the Woodchuck football team will host Surrey in the second round of 9 man playoffs at 1:30.

FYI! If you ordered a Region Champion HOODIE there is a possibility it may not arrive in time for the playoff game next Saturday, 10/22.

Students in grades 5-8 tested out their team building skills in their house meetings today. They had to see who could build the tallest tower out of 20 spaghetti noodles, one marshmallow, and tape.





Our Annual Title I Parent Fall Festival will be held Tuesday, October 18th from 5-7pm in the New Gym! Bring your family to enjoy the various booths and activities that will be available. We will have drawings for door prizes and supper will be provided! Also, we will be awarding some pizza parties to the grade levels with the highest percentage of students that attend.

JOM Board Election Notice:
Tuesday, October 18th from 5-7pm during the St. John School Fall Parent Night the JOM Board Election will be held. There will be one seat available serving a 3 year term.
Any parent with a child that is an enrolled member of the Turtle Mountain Tribe and attends the St. John School may request to be placed on the ballot.
Please contact Paul Frydenlund by 3pm on October 17th at the St. John School if you are interested in placing your name on the ballot.

Any students grade 7th - 12th interested in joining ESports this year, please contact Mr. Allery to sign up. On Wednesday October 12th, @ 3:10 there will be a quick Egames sign up meeting in Mr. Luna's classroom in the Middle School Wing. Fridays from 10:00 to 10:30 Mrs. Vandal will be holding a story hour for children ages birth to five years of age in the library. This will happen every Friday when school is on.

Friendly Reminder to Parents/Guardians Regarding After School:
We ask that if you have any bus or after school changes for your child that you notify the office before 2pm! Please do not have your child tell their bus driver or teacher a change without a parent or guardian notifying the office. You may either send a note or call.
Also, if picking up your child from school please wait until they are dismissed with their class. If they need to leave early for an appointment or any other reason you will be required to sign them out at the office.
